Hey everyone,

Hope you all enjoy your snow day today & tomorrow!

Due to the district being closed tomorrow (Monday) we will not have practice. Please see this weeks schedule, below:

Monday 1/26- No Practice

Tuesday 1/27 - Practice 6:30pm-8:30pm

Wednesday 1/28 - Practice 6:30pm-8:30pm

Thursday 1/29 - Practice 6:30pm-8pm

Friday 1/30 - Practice 6:30pm-8pm

Saturday 1/31 - Blue Hen Conference Championship at McKean HS

If there are any weather related updates regarding practice this week, I will continue to let you know.

Please see additional Blue Hen Conference Championship information, below:

- The meet will be Saturday 1/31 at McKean HS. ALL Newark swimmers WILL be swimming at this event.

- All parents/spectators need to purchase tickets via McKean's website4sports page and they should go on sale starting Monday. Volunteers will not need to purchase a ticket.

- Newark has been assigned warmup 4 of 4, which will be from 8:45am-9:05am. Please arrive to McKean NO LATER than 8:30am. If you miss warmup, you missed it, so do not be late. Maggie & I will be there by 8am.

- All swimmers will be sitting in the gym, all spectators will be in the stands/bleachers.

- Swimmers- find the section of the gym designated for Newark HS. please bring food, drinks, extra towels/bathing suit/goggles/caps/clothes, etc. if you would like to bring a camping chair to sit in while in the gym, you are more than welcome.

- The first warmup will be 7:45am for reference if any parents/spectators want to arrive early to have choice selection regarding seating in the stands. The meet starts at 9:20am and has an anticipated end time of 3pm.

- Volunteer Assignments:

- Rob Boyle - Lane 5 - 100 Fly through 200 Free Relay

- Melissa Espinal - Runner - 100 Fly through 200 Free Relay

- Carlos Mejia - Lane 2 - 100 Back through 400 Free Relay

- James Heiger - Lane 6 - 100 Back through 400 Free Relay
- Amy Shober - Computer

- Blair Melcher - Ready Benches

Timers please see me on the deck to pick up a stopwatch before your assigned wave during the meet!
