Hey everyone,

Reaching out with some information regarding the 2026 Blue Hen Conference Championship Meet on Saturday January 31st. The meet will tentatively start at 9am, so we’ll need everyone there well before that. More to come on when to get there once I get the warmup schedule.

All Newark swimmers will be participating in this. It will be at McKean HS.

Volunteers
They are asking for six volunteers from each team. For volunteering, it’ll be timing one lane for about 2-3 events during the meet. There’s about three waves of timers to shift in/out as the meet goes. Anyone that would like to volunteer, please let me know directly at tomorrow’s home meet or email me @ Brett.Melcher@christina.k12.de.us

Tickets
Tickets will go on sale on McKean's website4sports (highlanderssports.com) one week before the meet. All parents will need to buy a ticket; unless they volunteer to help run the meet. We will provide bands for volunteers.
