Hey everyone,

Happy Super Bowl Sunday, and GOOOOO BIRDS!

Looking ahead to this week, our practice schedule is going to be different than normal, so please closely pay attention to the times for each day.

Some days we will have morning practice as needed so those in the school play have some time to swim. If weather impacts our schedule in any way, I will update as needed.

Monday 2/10 – Practice 6pm-8pm

Tuesday 2/11 – Practice 6pm-8pm

Wednesday 2/12 – Practice 6am-7am & Practice 6pm-8pm

Thursday 2/13 – Practice 6am-7am & Practice 6pm-7:30pm

Friday 2/14 – Practice 6pm-7:30pm

Saturday 2/15 – Practice 8am-9:30am

The 6am-7am practices are only for those in the school play. If you are not in the school play, you should be coming to our evening practices. You cannot come to both due to DIAA rules on practice hours in a school day.

Girls Preliminaries will be on Wednesday 2/19 & Boys Preliminaries on Thursday 2/20.

Girls Finals will be in the morning, Boys Finals in the evening on Saturday 2/22, all at the University of Delaware Carpenter Sports Building ( Lil Bob ).

I will be submitting entries for states tomorrow when they are due. Below, I’ve outlined who will be participating in which events in case you do not know what you’re swimming. Relays will have alternate swimmers listed as well, and spots are chosen based on times this season.

Girls 200 Medley Relay (2 alternates)

Girls 50 Free
- Kyra Wayland, Madison Davis

Girls 100 Free

Girls 200 Free Relay (1 alternate)
- Quinn Totten, Scout Heiger, Baylee Boyd, Nadya Boyle, Gretchan Schnell

Girls 100 Back
- Gretchan Schnell

Girls 100 Breast
- TBD based on acceptance of B Cut / Consideration times

Girls 400 Free Relay (1 alternate)
- Kyra Wayland, Madison Davis, Gretchan Schnell, Quinn Totten, Baylee Boyd

Boys 50 Free
- Owen Powers

Boys 500 Free
